For a typical Fall Linner, our goal is to set a casual yet proper table, while being as sustainable as possible. For example, instead of buying out-of-season flowers, we like to use fresh garden florals that need to be cut back shortly for the winter anyway. We take greenery, berry branches, and the last few blossoms of hydrangeas and combine them to match the look of our table.
Here we decided to use an antique blue-and-white pattern for a slightly more elegant feel against the natural rustic elements - like the wood table & rattan charger. This help create an overall balanced look and feel.
Our favourite part of this tablescape are the party favours - mini grocery baskets filled with seasonal garden goodies. If you have the luxury of your own garden, use vegetables from your final harvest to create these fantastic take-home gifts for your guests.
