Time to get crafty!
This decor item is so underrated in our eyes - because it's one of the easiest ways to add a bit of interest to a plate setting and we don’t see them used nearly enough. This item is the Napkin Ring!
Not only does it give you an easy way to display your linen, but it can also bring a pop of colour, sparkle, or in this case - add texture! We love the fuzzy feature, especially for the winter months, as it just brings an extra cozy feeling to the table.
What you need:
Wool/felt pom poms (find them in any colour of the rainbow on Etsy or Amazon)
Needle and thread
Super glue
The process is simple:
Decide how many pom poms are enough to create the needed diameter of your ring.
Using your needle and thread, poke through the centre of your first pom pom, leaving about three inches of thread (you will use it to tie it to the other end)
Repeat the threading of the pom poms until you have enough to complete your ring. Tie it tightly together and snip off excess thread.
Repeat until you have enough rings per place setting (for 6 place settings, you with need 18 rings).
Glue your rings together in groups of three, and set aside to dry completely.
And voila! You now have a reusable accent piece for your tablescape!
