This project is so fun and has the ability to instantly transform your entertaining space!
It can be used a simple decor piece, as a back drop to your cocktail station, or even as a photo-wall for you or guests to get the perfect insta shot!
You'll need:
paper drink umbrellas
monofilament (fishing line)
scissors
clear tape
a safety pin
How-To:
Carefully open your paper umbrellas (they are typically quite delicate).
Cut fishing line to desired length. Using a safety pin, poke one end through the top of a drink umbrella close to the center.
To keep the umbrella in place we recommend one of these methods: Wrap the fishing line around one spoke to anchor the umbrella in place or tie a knot in the wire where you'd like the umbrella to hang (so that when it slides down the wire, the knot catches it).
Continue adding umbrellas to the garland as you like, spacing them about 8 inches apart.
Repeat steps 1 through 4 as many times as it requires for you to get to the desired finished product. For example, we repeated 5 times to achieve what's pictured above as it's the perfect length/width to hang behind our cocktail station!
